I went to see a movie "Slumdog Millionaire" during Golden week.
It was a good movie.
Most of all I was surprised to find that a TV quiz show in this film was exactly same quiz show on Japanese TV. Japanese one is a imitation of British TV quiz show named "Who want to Be a Millionaire" and the idea is owned by Sony Pictures Television International. Besides the original is another radio program "cash mountain". I suspect same quiz show might be all over the world and someone might be a millionaire by selling the idea.

    I haven't seen the movie but then I rarely go out to see movies these days. Who Wants to be a Millionaire" also shows in the US and you are correct that the producers of the show have gotten rich selling the idea but they are more than millionaires.

    I think all things are recycle, sometimes in different ways. So yeah, a game show or anything might be this way in one place, and different in a next.

    This movies looks interesting.
